AKC is a full-featured, Java-free Client, used on Windows. HKC is our new, Java-free, browser-based Client for Linux, iOS and Mac platforms. VKC is the original full-featured, Java-based KVM Client for all platforms.
The KX III User Station provides high-performance, KVM-over-IP access for broadcast, control rooms and studios. This Linux-based, hardware appliance supports two 1080p video sessions at 30FPS with 50ms latency.
How the Dominion KX User Stations work:
Computer Interface Module (CIM) for Dominion KX III
A CIM is a “server dongle” that connects a PC, server or workstation to the KX III via a Cat5/6 cable. There are multiple types of CIMs to support the different types of computer ports (USB, PS/2, VGA, HDMI, DVI, DisplayPort, serial) and to perform features such as virtual media. Use the table below to locate the appropriate CIM. For more detailed information, consult the KX III CIM Guide.
True Serial Access with Dominion Serial Access Modules (DSAM)
With the new Dominion Serial Access Modules (DSAM), users can connect to up to 8 serial devices with Java-free, serial access. The 2 and 4 port DSAM modules connect to the KX III switch’s USB ports. They provide “true serial access” with copy and paste capability for up to 8 simultaneous connections to serial devices like LAN switches, routers and Linux/Unix servers.
CommandCenter Centralized Access & Management
CommandCenter also provides Remote Power Control, access to VMware Virtual Machines and support of in-band access solutions such as RDP, VNC, SSH and service processors from leading computer manufacturers. CC-SG is a perfect complement to the Power IQ Power Management Solution and enables power control of devices connected to multi-vendor PDU’s managed by Power IQ.
