Start Campus partnered with Legrand to create one of Europe’s most sustainable hyperscale data centers in Sines, Portugal. Powered entirely by renewable energy, the 1.2 GW campus integrates Legrand’s ColdLogik rear door cooling and seawater-based thermal management to achieve exceptional efficiency, with a PUE target of 1.1 and WUE of 0. This long-term alliance combines innovation, lifecycle support, and AI-ready infrastructure to set a new standard for sustainable data center design.
For over a decade, Cambridge University’s West Cambridge Data Centre has set new standards in sustainable high-performance computing. With ColdLogik at its core, the facility delivers 100% free cooling, supports up to 44kW per rack, and has seamlessly evolved to integrate direct liquid cooling for the DAWN Supercomputer, proving that energy efficiency and scalability can go hand in hand.
