10.27.2015Legrand officialises its partnership with La Poste so as to ensure compatibility of its connected offerings with the Digital Hub provided by La Poste
After the launch in July of the Eliot program designed to speed up the deployment of its connected devices offering and thereby take an active part in the promising development of connected buildings, Legrand is today officialising its partnership with La Poste. Together, Legrand and La Poste intend to provide their customers with offerings connectable to a universal platform developed by La Poste, the ‘Digital Hub’, thereby enabling access to new services.
As was stated at the launch of Eliot, Legrand continues to promote interoperability among connected devices in buildings. Having recently announced its cooperation with est Inc. designed to enable use of the est Weave protocol in its connected offering, Legrand is today announcing its partnership with La Poste.
This cooperation aims to share the programming interface (API) of Legrand solutions with La Poste so as to make it compatible with other connected offerings on the market via the ‘Digital Hub’. Legrand and La Poste will thus offer users new added benefits and uses (due to be presented at the CES in Las Vegas in January) while leaving them free to choose to add equipment gradually, as the need arises.
Legrand is a member of the AllSeen alliance, a leading global consortium seeking to promote interoperability among connected devices, systems and services, and a long-standing member of the ZigBee® Alliance. ZigBee® is the open global wireless standard for the Internet of Things.
