Can hot-aisle and cold-aisle containment be mixed in the same data hall?

Typically, a single containment strategy is used within a data hall to maintain clear separation of hot and cold airflow.

Mixing hot-aisle and cold-aisle containment in the same open space is generally avoided because it disrupts airflow control. Hybrid solutions can be implemented in carefully designed environments, but strict separation of airflow zones must be maintained to preserve efficiency.
