Who is responsible for design, installation, and commissioning?

Responsibility varies depending on project structure and delivery model. Common approaches include:

  • Owner Furnished, Contractor Installed (OFCI)
  • Contractor Furnished, Contractor Installed (CFCI)

Typically, the client leads the process and often works with an integrator, consultant, or architect to design the room layout. A common starting point is for the client to provide a cabinet layout and to request a containment design and quotation. Based on this information, we develop the proposal and refine the design through technical discussions until alignment is reached.

Installation responsibilities depend largely on the project location. In some regions, we can install it directly. In others, we work with local partners. Containment commissioning is generally straightforward, as containment is not an active system, but it is still validated as part of the overall project's delivery.

When local partners are involved, the initial installations are often supported jointly, with on-site training provided. Once trained, partners are typically able to support future deployments independently.
