Environmental commitment

On its industrial sites as well as in the design of its products, the Legrand Group prioritises the use of materials and processes that respect both people and the environment. Through this approach, the Group reduces the impact of its activities while strengthening its economic performance and the appeal of its offers.
The group's commitments cover the following main points, which are set out in the Legrand Environment Charter:

• Integration of environmental concerns and ISO 14001 procedures on the Group's sites
• Incorporation of environmental aspects in the design of products, systems and solutions. Providing customers with information to help them select the best solutions, in particular by the use of product environmental profiles (PEPs).
• Development of products and solutions to improve the energy efficiency of residential, commercial and industrial buildings.
